Angola is sadly infamous for its civil war, which lasted over 30 years after its independence in 1975. Today the country is at peace. It’s one of the most important producers of oil in Africa along with Nigeria, but is still one of the poorest countries in the world. China is omnipresent with a deal where Angola exchanges oil for the construction of roads and infrastructures. I’ll visit the south of Angola, with its many landscapers, natural sites, tribes, colonial towns and the Lisuthianian population who are very hospitable to their very few visitors.
